OK place

Went there on a Wednesday night. Arrived about 10:30 and the place was busy with a mixed range of ages and backgrounds including college students. Quite a lot of people there alone.

Not Impressed

Traveled to Philly for their Pridefest 09. Not impressed with this establishment at all. First have to walk through the maze of smokers to enter. Doorman okay...went to orders drinks and the bartenders ignored my best friend and I on both floors. Money in hand so as to indicate we wanted drinks. These guys bypassed us at least two times. Would not give the a third chance. Left the place never to return. Went to 12th Street Command and although not a Woody's crowd we had a wonder experience. Open, Airy and the bartenders are just that great in every respect. Woody's has lost a good client in me. I will never return to this establishment. Just so you know I am 35, 5'9", 176lb, blk, brn, muscular build, educated and well travelled.

I don't know yet....

I've heard nothing but good things from friends about Woody's, however when I went there it was quiet. I quickly walked in, around, and right back out. The plus I would have to say was that there was no cover, and like it's neighbor Sisters it has multiple floors. I must revisit sometime soon.

Friendly and Cruisy

I stopped there with a couple of friends back a few years ago! I found it interesting and quite friendly! Some super looking guys and great bar service! Then we took a walk to the Farmer's Market....lots of variety of things to buy there! Too bad it was raining the day or we would have walked to more places....but I did get to see n taouch the Liberty Bell!
